General work description: The project consists of providing traffic control and construction area signs;
implementing a construction staging plan, providing and implementing a water pollution control plan; performing roadway excavation and site grading; installing pedestrian and street lighting; modifying the existing traffic signal and highway lighting system and storm drain system; constructing concrete and decorative concrete improvements; installing traffic striping and pavement markings; installing streetscape, landscaping, and an irrigation system; coordinating with utility companies, businesses, schools, and property owners; clearing and grubbing; furnishing and applying water; cleaning site and constructing other related work and services necessary to complete said project.

Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator. Please call if you need assistance in obtaining bonding, insurance, equipment, materials and/or supplies. Granite intends to work cooperatively with all qualified firms seeking work on this project.
